Over the course of the year, the OJCL sponsors several events. There are three main events in which members of the OJCL can participate:

  • Fall Forum is the annual kickoff event that acts as a mini-State Convention, taking place in early October. The event lasts for the majority of one day from 10-4 PM. During this day, members can participate in a wide variety of activities, ranging from Certamen to Ludi.
  • The OJCL State Convention takes place in Columbus and brings together around 800 students and teachers from across the state of Ohio. This year, it will be held at the Crowne Plaza Columbus North-Worthington from February 24-26.
  • This past year, National Convention was held in Bloomington, Indiana at Indiana University. The OJCL proudly brought 100 total members, and we hope to see even more of you at the 2017 NJCL Convention at Troy University in Troy, Alabama!

In addition, Gubernators sponsor even more events that are focused on each of the three regions (North, Central, and South):
