Over the course of the year, the OJCL sponsors several events. There are three main events in which members of the OJCL can participate: Fall Forum, OJCL State Convention, and NJCL Convention.
Fall Forum is the annual kickoff event that acts as a mini-State Convention, taking place in early October. The event lasts for one day from 9-5 PM. During this day, members can participate in a wide variety of activities, including Open Certamen, Ludi, and Impromptu Art.
The OJCL State Convention takes place in Columbus and brings together around 800 students and teachers from across the state of Ohio. This year, it will be held at the DoubleTree Columbus Worthington from March 9-11, 2018.
This past year, the National Convention was held in Troy, Alabama at Troy University. Learn more about the NJCL at http://njcl.org, and be sure to join us next year at Miami University!
