Information for the 2024 Convention
CLICK HERE TO REGISTER ALL YOUR GRAPHIC ARTS ONLINE BY 11:59 ON THURS MARCH 7 – then print off the labels and attach them to your projects.
Fri March 8:
- wear the convention t-shirt given to you a week or two ago
- put luggage/projects in Knights Hall near the windows
List List of 22 students going to convention with their OJCL ID numbers to submit projects.
- Please bring a device (phone, pad, computer) to convention because the academic testing is done online. Paper copies of the test are available, but online testing on a device is preferable.
- 2024 Summit Convention Checklist – please read, it is only 2 pages!
- perm slip for medication – it will allow the adult chaperones to administer medication to students
- Convention Program with all events for all 3 days

Summit has won the most overall points for 10 of the past 13 years!

For 25 consecutive years, there have been Summit students in positions of leadership at the state level: This year, Hana Conte is the Editor, and Kori McLane is the 1st Vice-President.

Lisa Mays is in her 6th year as the State Chair of Students, who mentors officers throughout the year. And Summit alumnus Tullus Dean is in his 2nd year as the State Chair of Technology and Convention. And alumnus Ryan Burns in President and alumnus Wali Khan is Parliamentarian of the OSCL, the group of college students who volunteer to help run the convention.

Students who attend once usually attend every year. Why? It is the great combination of fun and learning and competition!
